Joseph R. Zurfluh

Joseph R. Zurfluh is a native of Coral Gables, Florida. He moved to Mobile in 1982 to attend Spring Hill College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He began his career in Health Care with PrimeHealth of Alabama in 1991 and has worked for various Health Care companies including Complete Health and United Health Care. He has extensive experience in Health Care marketing, network development and credentialing.

Mr. Zurfluh joined a large medical group in 2001 as its third administrator. Since that time, the group has tripled in size and opened a third and fourth clinic. He has been instrumental in the creation of The Bienville Group; he currently serves as Managing Member for The Bienville Group and a large Imaging Center in Mobile, AL. Mr. Zurfluh is available to provide consulting services involving accounting controls, governance, practice marketing, ICD 9 and CPT coding, compliance, Stark Laws, ancillary services, claims analysis and medical billing and collections.
